 Zdjęcia do filmu powstały w Pittsburghu i Coraopolis w stanie Pensylwania w USA, a także w wesołym miasteczku Kennywood Amusement Park w West Mifflin w Pensylwanii (USA).

 Reżyser Greg Mottola planował nakręcenie filmu w prawdziwym parku przygód. Zmienił jednak zdanie, gdyż wygląd parku bardzo się zmienił od czasu, gdy tam pracował.
